Appointing a freelance designer may be a new process for many, so below is an explanation of how this creative process works. It's easier than you think to get your art needs met.
How it works
1. Once the perspective customer is interested in appointing Vida Art for their art service, the designer will reach out to gather information about the service being done. It will be expected for the client to have the following information ready to provide to the designer: theme, style, idea for the design, examples of the style you are looking for, business name, and possible color palette (for logo designs).
2. Once the designer has a general idea of what is being expected and the client agrees on the estimated price, the designer will send a deposit request to the client. The deposit is 50% of the total design service and goes towards the balance of the service. The designer will not start any art/design service until the 50% deposit is paid. This is to ensure that the client is serious about moving forward with the design process. Once the deposit is received the designer will begin the art service. Depending on the service, the designer will send (via email or text photo) 3 rounds of design proofs for the client's approval to see what direction to go in for the design. After the 3rd round of proofs, there will be an extra $10 charge per additional round of proofs. The turn around time for services is as follows (always subject to change):
-Logo: 1-2 Weeks
-Flyer: 1 Week
-T-shirt Design: 1 Week
-Commissioned Painting: 2 Weeks- 2 Months (depending on the size and style)
-Mural: 1 Month- 4 Months (depending on the size)
3. Once the client approves of the final design and no more changes need to made, a final invoice will be sent for the remaining 50% of the balance. The final product/design will not be given to the client until the remaining balance is paid in full. The designer may post a photo of the completed art service on the company website or social media for marketing and advertising purposes. If the client does not want their completed service posted then PLEASE tell the designer ahead of time.
